As the President of the International Counseling Association of Malaysia (PERKAMA International), I am thrilled about the emergence of the MyPIBG communication app for Parents Teachers Associations (PTA) in Malaysia.
This app serves as a crucial tool in strengthening efficient and smooth communication between the PTA Committee and parents, involving various stakeholders in the school community. What truly excites me about MyPIBG is the inclusion of the Students Development Centre (SDC) feature, directly involving school counselors. This integration is crucial for parents to establish an easy channel to connect with Guidance and Counseling Teachers anytime and from anywhere, especially as counselors strive to provide professional counseling services to help students navigate challenges in their educational journey.
I sincerely recommend the use of the MyPIBG app by all PTAs because it not only serves as a facilitator to enhance parental engagement but also as a catalyst for the growth and progress of PTAs into highly effective associations. This collective effort is essential for the improvement of our children and the future they aspire to achieve. The MyPIBG app truly stands as a bridge to be utilized by the entire school community.

As the Chairman of the National Counseling Teachers Council, I am delighted with the presence and emergence of MyPIBG as an effective communication application for the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG). In addition to offering various features and benefits for PIBG and its members, MyPIBG is further empowered by incorporating the Student Development Center (SDC) platform into its application.
The introduction of the SDC platform provides valuable opportunities for school counselors to offer professional and more effective support to students, facilitated by the direct involvement of parents through this communication application. Parents can easily connect with school counselors at any time and from anywhere to obtain information about the counseling services provided in schools, with the main goal of fostering the dynamic well-being of students.
Through collaboration with parents, counselors can not only provide counseling services to students but also improve the quality of communication between the school and parents in shaping the well-being of students. This interactive platform will undoubtedly contribute to a stronger and more effective relationship between parents and schools for the benefit of students.
Recognizing the advantages and capabilities of the MyPIBG application, I believe that every PIBG should seize this opportunity to help improve the quality of communication between parents and schools, especially the ability of this application to connect parents with school counselors, also known as Guidance and Counseling Teachers, through the Student Development Center platform. We highly encourage PIBG to subscribe to MyPIBG to cultivate an environment that prioritizes student improvement in their respective schools.
